Shooting at night with a phone is very tough because of all of the "noise" and softness of the image from the tiny sensor the phone has... that is the Achilles heel of phones... tiny sensor=poor low light images.
Shoot close in, in the daytime for this assignment... find angles and geometry to fill the frame with... the results will be much stronger...
