Portraits

Today, I shot with only my kit lens.  It's interesting, photographing someone you know; it makes it hard to be discriminating when choosing which pictures to use.  I think I have chosen a good variety from the batch I shot.  Some are good, quality wise, and some are good because they capture the essence of the "photo shoot".  Pictured below are my boyfriend, Anthony, and my two dogs- Tanzi and Spencer.  Ant is an amateur photographer as well, so he was a perfect model for me

We are in our house, using the natural light of this beautiful Sunday afternoon.  They are all in black and white, except for one shot of Tanzi.  Most of the pictures needed very little editing.  Some sharpness here and there and a little bit of shadow protection.  I hope you like them.

At this point, he had enough of my ridiculous direction.  From a quality perspective, these two pictures could be better.  The focus isn't perfect, but I love how candid they are.
